Welcome to the website of the First Private Orthoptic Practice in the Central Bohemia region.

 I have opened this practice in the center of Kladno in summer 2008. Kladno is close to Prague, approx 15km behind Prague Airport. The exact address of my office is Vanova 3180, 27200 Kladno, Czech Republic.

 I am providing standard orthoptic services, such as orthoptic diagnosis and treatment of defective eye coordination, binocular vision, orthoptic and pleoptic exercising and conservative treatment of squint. I am offering service to patients of all ages from several weeks to seniors.  I cooperating with ophthalmologist in all cases.

 I offer screening of infant eye defects. Some orthoptic and pleoptic exercises are possible to adapt for small children (2-3 years old). It's for this reason that I have many patients in that age.

 A major part of my service is my offer of eye assessment and conservative treatment for very young handicapped children.

 Orhtoptics as a recognized profession has a long history in the world and in the Czech Republic too. By Czech National Health Care law, orthoptists are able to participate on preventive, diagnostic and treatment cases. Orhtoptic's target is the achievement of the best possible visual acuity and evocation of binocular vision for inborn and gained eye malfunctions.
